A praying mantis decided to pass by my kitchen this evening. He alarmed my dogs quite a bit, and almost became a puppy snack. He alarmed ME quite a bit as well, with me having a huge phobia of insects...especially LARGE insects. (ladybugs and butterflies as an exception) I managed to save my unannounced company via swiffer mop out the patio door :-X
